I can't work on something that I don't care about or believe in.

I am passionate and compassionate.

I can be high strung.

I am unafraid of ambiguity.

I am comfortable with chaos.

I most frequently choose fight over flight, for better or worse.

I am obsessive.

I am diligent.

I am reliable.

I am relentless in pursuit of objectives.

I eat, sleep and breathe mission and vision.

I am a natural leader and I always lead from the front.

I have an overabundance of empathy.

I am comfortable being vulnerable and I encourage vulnerability from others.

I believe in loyalty to principles and ideals.

I am a facilitator.

I love working with people who are smarter and more experienced than me.

what i do

Above all else, I create leverage.

My two superpowers are:

1. A highly developed ability to create harmony between mission, brand, product marketing, and campaigns

2. A knack for building and leading scrappy teams that punch above their weight and move the growth needle

Historically, I've built high leverage marketing programs for early stage startups with aggressive growth targets and underdeveloped commercial processes.

Because I've worked mostly with nascent businesses, I've personally worked on almost every marketing function that exists. There are advantages to having 'done it all' and understanding intimately how all the pieces fit together.

Of course, nobody can be the best at everything.

The deepest parts of my 'T-shape' stem from a lifelong obsession with people and behavior; I am personally strongest with upstream marketing. I'm most skilled with strategy, brand development, storytelling, communications, media relations, customer marketing, and elements of product marketing.

I prefer to surround myself with reliable downstream copilots. I've led downstream functions, but there are others more skilled and better motivated with disciplines like field marketing, digital marketing, marketing ops, et al.

No matter the specific marketing discipline, I'm who you want supporting when the odds are long and targets are looming.
